Here I am up in Osoyoos, trying to get a little work done while also trying to not get frustrated with my laptop (it’s about 100 times slower than my main computer at home). It is 9:30 in the morning and already thirty degrees outside. Jealous? :D
Adam and I have been up here since wednesday evening, and basically have just been reading, swimming, tanning, bbqing, and drinking wine. Not gonna lie, it’s pretty awesome. Next week when I come home I have three weddings, a newborn shoot, a few client meetings, and lots of editing and album design to catch up on. I’m prety excited, but also not sure if I’ll have time to sleep, so we figured this week was a good week to take a vacation!
But this post isn’t about me….. it’s about Tina and PJ and their awesome, intimate wedding at Peace Arch Park. We also met for their engagement session there a while back, and it is the perfect symbolic location for them (Tina is Canadian and PJ is American) in addition to the fact that it is a beautiful park. I loved spending time with them for the e.session so I was pretty stoked for the wedding - especially since it was an outdoor ceremony (anything outdoor is ten times easier to shoot). :)
Here are a few of my favourites from the day:
We had a few minutes before leaving for the ceremony to take some quick portraits of the girls in the garden. No stress to be found here – they were a comical bunch of girls, and managed to keep Tina laughing pretty much all day. :)
Tina’s niece and Flower Girl: Her name is Rebecca too, so obviously she is super cute. :P
Tina’s dad getting his boutonniere attached, just moments before the ceremony.
This picture gives a whole new meaning to ‘peep toe!’ (Heehee, I’m so funny I kill myself.) :D
These (above and below) are always my absolute favourite shots to do – portraits of the bride. Love love love these ones of Tina.

Love this one too.

Tina and PJ – thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your wedding. I hope you love these as much as I do, and a big cheers from me to your new life together in the same country! ;)
