Kelly and Chad’s wedding pictures are a little different than usual - because I was already booked on their wedding date, we booked a ‘Day After’ shoot that was literally the day after. They woke up the morning after their wedding, got all dressed up again, did their hair and make-up etc., so that we could take pictures! It was actually really nice to not have a time limit and be totally relaxed, because they were already married and the crazy day was behind them. (But I can’t believe their whole wedding party agreed to it! Hardcore.) It was doubly nice because I know Kelly and her sisters from high school, which always makes it that much more fun.
We headed out to Stanley Park / Coal Harbour in Vancouver, right around the hotel they were staying at. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, just like their wedding day the day before.

I took this shot on one of the bridesmaids dresses – love the colour.![blog[cl]wblackmore0117 blog[cl]wblackmore0117](http://rphotographer.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/blogclwblackmore0117.jpg)
Tons of people have trouble doing the ’serious but not sad or angry’ look. Kelly thankfully does not – she is the master of it. :P So classic.
Very cool gigantic tree stump thing-a-ma-jig:![blog[cl]wblackmore0324 blog[cl]wblackmore0324](http://rphotographer.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/blogclwblackmore0324.jpg)
I love shooting here – until we found needles. Gross! I thought Coal Harbour was a decent part of Vancouver? (Sorry again to the ladies who were up there in open shoes!)

Kelly’s bouquet was really pretty – different than your standard roses, it looked more like gathered wildflowers. And can you believe it held up this well the day after the wedding?![blog[cl]wblackmore0022 blog[cl]wblackmore0022](http://rphotographer.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/blogclwblackmore0022.jpg)

Chad is very similar to Adam (my fiance) in that he doesn’t like to smile a lot in pictures. So this is one of my faves:
Pretty!![blog[cl]wblackmore0212 blog[cl]wblackmore0212](http://rphotographer.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/blogclwblackmore0212.jpg)
The whole group in front of our gorgeous Vancouver:![blog[cl]wblackmore0094 blog[cl]wblackmore0094](http://rphotographer.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/blogclwblackmore0094.jpg)
We were lucky to get a stretch on this bridge when no one else was on it – pretty rare on a Sunday afternoon.

Thanks again you guys, and also for being so patient - hope you like them!
A slideshow of the whole shoot is here.
