I loved this session I shot last week. Strangely enough, this was my very first maternity session – I’ve done a lot of baby and child portraiture (which many of you probably know is my favourite), but not one maternity session yet! I absolutely loved it. It was so……. I think ’peaceful’ would be the right word…. and relaxing, and fun. :) And I am so happy with how the images turned out.
With sessions like this I can have a basic idea of what I’d like to do, but then just go with it. It leaves a lot of room for creativity and for molding the shoot to the client’s personality, which I love.
I’m currently working on building my maternity/newborn portfolio, and so have some portfolio pricing in effect – if you know anyone who is expecting in March, April, or May, send them my way for details! :)
And here is the beautiful-soon-to-be-new-mom, Jennifer:
Absolutely gorgeous day:
Love these little booties:
I stumbled upon this ivy when I took the wrong street to get to Jennifer’s house. Lucky mistake I say!
So gorgeous.
And then, soon-to-be-dad stopped by after work:
He’s pretty funny:

Love this one, because it’s an expression I would make: :D
AND THEY HAVE A BIKE!! How cool is that.
That’s all for today folks…… back to the craziness that is wedding planning + lots of new stuff in the works for my business planning. So much to do! My wedding invitations have to go out in approximately three weeks, meaning I’d better start designing them this week. :P
Hope you’re all having a great Wednesday!
