Jen & Rob | Campbell Valley Engagement Photography

This session was super fun, super easy, and super cold. I used to work with Jen, and she is such a sweetheart as well as one tough chick: her awesome heels made it pretty tough to navigate the terrain we encountered, so she ended up barefoot on cold cement for a good chunk of the session! Eeeek! When I got in my car at the end of the session, I immediately blasted the hot air on the ‘directly-at-my-feet-please!’ setting. My feet proceeded to sting – so I can only imagine what Jen’s defrosting process felt like!

Jen and Rob are getting married next August at St. Andrew’s Church in Fort Langley (you know, the super cute little white one on Glover Road that is oh so perfect for a wedding!) This photographer is very excited about that. :)

These were all taken at Campbell Valley Park – this is a little historic schoolhouse there. Love it.

We went a little long, and I always seem to forget to do ring shots until the end. By this point we were rapidly losing light (ok it was pretty much dark out). Add to that a bunch of wind trying to blow this leaf away, and it made for one tricky shot. Pleasantly surprised that I managed to get a useable one! Favourite. This shot is so Jen – always smiling. :)
