E.SESSION | Colby&Steve | Crescent Beach Portrait Photography

Colby and Steve picked Crescent Beach for their e.session, and I have to say I was pretty excited. We had talked about getting our feet a little wet, and I knew about the little white church on Beecher Street and the crazy metal structure down the beach. What I didn’t expect to find were some awesome silhouettes, a cool back alley and high tide – which these two were still more than willing to jump into. :)
Starting around 6:30pm, we hit the best light of the day and shot until the sun went down.
This one is with some of that GORGEOUS light in a back-alley off of Beecher Street. Proof that as long as the light is good, you can find a beautiful picture absolutely anywhere.

Steve spotted a swing set on our way towards the water, so we took a little break. :P

When we got to the water, this is what we found: The 6 or so images of this tree is one of my favourite sets of all time. If the tree had had cherry blossoms on it, I think I would have died on the spot.

So romantic….

Steve is 6′7″ and Colby is probably about my height – (5′9″) ? But she looks little next to Steve! So cute. I forgot to ask him what size his feet were, but may I just say that these shoes are freaking awesome!

Gotta love detail shots. The diamonds look like a wave! Very fitting with our beach theme.
(Am I stretching it?)

RED SHOES!!!!! If I could wear heels (I try to blame it on my boyfriend not being 6′7″, but really I just find them uncomfortable) I would wear red heels every single day. Colby is a girl after my own heart.

Apparently this is the local high-school hang-out. As we were setting up some shots here, some kids walked by with about 10 empty bottles rattling about in their cargo pants pockets. Hey, at least they were cleaning up their empties!

Crazy metal structure!

And, last but not least, my homage to 1970’s Hallmark Anniversary cards:
Thanks again for being so awesome you guys, hope you like them!
p.s. “keeeeees” LOL.
