I’ve been slacking on my posting and now I have too many pictures to justify putting them all in one post! Therefore, this one is to be called Installment I. (I think there will be three.) :)
So beginning at the beginning….these are some shots from the Capilano Suspension Bridge (Canyon Lights is what I think it’s called?). Adam and I had never been, so we decided to head up there before our annual Stanley Park Train Freeze-fest. It was SO COLD!
We got there just around dusk….we were planning for sunset, but some bad traffic got in our way. Later on we decided that the sunset would have been hidden by the trees anyway, which made us feel better about the stupid freeway jam that made us miss it.
But enough complaining…. because the bridge was really neat! There didn’t seem to be much interesting history behind it – (basically someone built it for fun) but it was very bouncy and very high up and the lights were pretty!
The view from the bridge at dusk…..
And then in the dark!
The view from the top!^
The moon was super cool that night too.
Pretty neat, eh? (I think it’s open for another week or so if anyone is thinking about checking it out.)
Dress Warmly!
