Last Thursday I got to go hang out with Julie, Jeremy, and their new baby girl Piper! At 10 weeks, Piper is the youngest baby I have photographed so far, and let me tell you – it’s a little tricky when they’re not old enough to sit up on their own, yet old enough to know that cameras are a bit scary looking! :P We still managed to get lots of cute shots, and I finally got to use some flowers I’ve been dying to try out (my last few shoots have been with baby boys, and because I’m pretty sure they won’t appreciate flower pictures when they’re older, I’ve kept them safely stowed away).

I love sleeping pictures. It took a lot of rocking on her mom and dad’s part, but they somehow managed to get her sound asleep for about all of 2 minutes when we took the shots above. So peaceful. :)
